The 2025 harvest is officially underway! We start by gathering our Chardonnay grapes, then we move to Moscato. As always, the start of the harvest brings both excitement and anticipation and we’re pleased to report that the conditions of this vintage let us look ahead with optimism.
Indeed, 2025 shows extremely encouraging prospects: the vineyards are in excellent health and the climatic balance suggests very high grape quality. After a mild winter and a cool but regular spring, flowering was harmonious and without setbacks. Evenly distributed rainfall gave us essential water reserves that helped us through the June heatwave, which accelerated vegetative development without causing excessive stress to the vines.
July’s strong temperature variations between day and night were fundamental for an even veraison and balanced phenolic ripening. The excellent state of the grapes and yields line well with historical averages: everything points to a promising vintage, capable of producing elegant and complex wines, true to the character of our crus.
September always arrives with eager anticipation: the release of our crus
This year, we proudly present Barolo Margheria, Parafada and Parussi 2021, alongside Barbaresco Albesani 2022.
Two vintages, distinct in character yet united by harmony and balance. The 2021 vintage in Langa brought remarkable energy: wines of depth, structure, and longevity, destined to evolve with grace over the years. By contrast, 2022 reveals a more generous and immediate personality—offering Barbaresco Albesani a juicy, elegant, and alluring profile, irresistible in its youth yet promises fine aging potential.
Most importantly, 2025 marks the return of our most iconic wine: Barolo Vigna Rionda Riserva 2019. After 2018’s necessary, this historic vineyard once again expresses its highest voice. The 2019 Riserva promises majesty—embodying the complexity, depth, and longevity that only Vigna Rionda delivers.
We share this release with pride and excitement, certain that these wines will inspire, captivate, and move those who taste them.

Perfect Pairings
Piedmontese cuisine continues to capture hearts and palates around the world. Travelers flock to our hills, not only for the breathtaking landscapes but also to discover the flavors of a cuisine that speaks of tradition, authenticity, and passion. And with every dish, wine is an essential companion—bringing depth, nuance, and harmony to the table.
In this and future newsletters, we’ll share some of the pairings that inspire us most—ideas and reflections to help you experience the very best of food and wine together.
One of our favorites? Crudo di ricciola (amberjack tartare) with Langhe Riesling. The pairing is a conversation between freshness and elegance: the fish’s natural richness is lifted by the Riesling’s lively acidity, cleansing the palate and inviting the next bite. Seared zucchini and a hint of mint find a perfect echo in the wine’s citrus and mineral notes, while the subtle sweetness of mirin is balanced by Riesling’s vibrant, savory edge.
The result is a pairing defined by harmony and balance—where the precision of the wine enhances the complexity and freshness of the dish, creating a truly memorable experience.
