Langhe Doc Riesling

Tasting characteristics

Appearance: more or less bright straw yellow, depending on the vintage.
Bouquet: it expresses the typical hydrocarbon and mineral scents, with fresh fruit notes in its youth.
Flavour:vertical and savoury, the typically marked acidity of the variety stands out and provides freshness and endless finish.

It is best to serve it at temperatures between 12-15°C.

A dry white of great pleasantness that encounters the power and structure given by the Langhe hills; intense and versatile in its youth, it is certainly suitable for long ageing Excellent with fish dishes, especially shellfish, and great to pair with white meat and goat cheeses.


Langhe Doc Riesling

  • Made from Riesling.
  • Altitude: 550-600 m above sea level.
  • Total surface area: 1 hectare.
  • Soil composition: marly, calcareous.
  • Training system and vine density: traditional Guyot; with about 5,500 vines per hectare.
  • Yield per hectare: 8 tonnes.
  • Average age of vines: 5 years.
  • Harvest: manual, usually in the middle of October.
  • First year of production: 2017.
  • Vinification and ageing: vinified in stainless steel tanks,where it lies on the fermenting lees for about 8-10 months,before being bottled.
  • Note: The grapes come from the highest vineyard of our estate, in Monforte d’Alba, at about 600 m above sea level, where the climatic conditions provide this wine with the distinctive freshness and acidity which make the Riesling grape one of the most famous in the world, and definitely a great passion of ours!
